The Islamic Aqeedah Course is a focused one-week online educational program designed to help Muslims understand the essential foundations of Islamic belief according to the Quran and authentic Sunnah.
A correct understanding of Aqeedah forms the foundation of a Muslim’s relationship with Allah, worship, reliance upon Him, and understanding of the fundamental beliefs of Islam.
Throughout the course, students will study the fundamental principles of Islamic belief in a clear and structured manner. The lessons are designed to make important concepts understandable and applicable to everyday Muslim life.
Classes are conducted live via Google Meet, allowing students to interact directly with the instructor, ask questions, discuss areas they may find difficult to understand, and receive clarification during each lesson.
The course is suitable for beginners as well as Muslims who already have some Islamic knowledge but would like to review and strengthen their understanding of Aqeedah.

The Six Pillars of Iman
An important part of the course is developing a clear understanding of the six fundamental pillars of faith:
1. Belief in Allah
Understanding belief in Allah, His Lordship, His right to be worshipped, and what the Quran and authentic Sunnah teach concerning Him.
2. Belief in the Angels
Understanding the Islamic belief concerning the Angels and their roles as established in authentic Islamic sources.
3. Belief in the Revealed Books
Learning about the scriptures revealed by Allah and the Muslim’s belief regarding divine revelation.
4. Belief in the Messengers
Understanding why Allah sent Prophets and Messengers and the Muslim’s obligation to believe in them.
5. Belief in the Last Day
Studying fundamental beliefs concerning resurrection, accountability, Paradise, Hellfire, and the Hereafter.
6. Belief in Divine Decree
Understanding the Islamic concept of Al-Qadr and maintaining proper belief in Allah’s knowledge, wisdom and decree.
Tawheed and Worship
Special attention is given to understanding Tawheed, because it lies at the heart of Islamic belief.
Students will learn about worshipping Allah alone and how Tawheed relates to everyday acts of worship such as:
- Salah
- Dua
- Tawakkul
- Seeking protection
- Hope
- Fear
- Love of Allah
- Repentance
- Dhikr
The objective is to help the student understand that Aqeedah is not merely theoretical knowledge. It directly influences how a Muslim worships Allah and lives his or her daily life.
Avoiding Incorrect Beliefs and Superstition
The course also discusses the importance of distinguishing authentic Islamic teachings from cultural practices, superstition, and beliefs that have no reliable basis in the Quran or authentic Sunnah.
Students will learn the importance of examining religious claims according to authentic Islamic evidence rather than accepting practices simply because they are widespread within a particular culture or community.
